Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Ms. C. Barnard the trainer of Coco Marlow regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Coco Marlow last raced on 15/07/18. Ms. Barnard stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a left elbow ligament injury. Ms. Barnard declared a new weight of 26.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Coco Marlow last raced at 28.5kg.
Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Malia the trainer of the greyhound Jungle Jacqui regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Jungle Jacqui last raced on 27/08/18. Mr. Malia advised the greyhound was returning to racing following a left stopper injury.
A pre-race sample was taken from Jungle Jacqui.
Jungle Jacqui, Viewing and Primrose Diamond were slow to begin. Viewing and Primrose Diamond collided on the first turn. Jungle Jacqui and Primrose Diamond collided approching the home turn.
Jungle Jacqui was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right back muscle, a 60 day stand down period was imposed.
