Martini Lady was slow to begin.  Ripplebrook Tim crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Ripplebrook Ben, Inter Mimi, Horus Blue, Dreamliner and Aussie Bok Choy.  Horus Blue was checked off Inter Mimi approaching the first turn.  Horus Blue was checked off Dreamliner approaching the home turn causing Aussie Bok Choy to gallop on Horus Blue severely checking both greyhounds.

Dreamliner was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the right hind webbing, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Party Muscles.

Blue Suede Shoes went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  Raven Rich was slow to begin.  Lightfoot Lass and Vinyard collided soon after the start checking Lightfoot Lass.  Blue Suede Shoes was checked off Dewana Rocket soon after the start and crossed to the outside colliding with Acer and Raven Rich.  Blue Suede Shoes, Acer and Raven Rich collided on the first turn checking Blue Suede Shoes and Raven Rich.  Bluwy galloped on Party Muscles on the first turn checking Party Muscles.  Raven Rich was checked off Blue Suede Shoes on the first turn.  Bluwy, Party Muscles and Vineyard collided approaching the home turn.  Blue Suede Shoes raced wide approaching the home turn.  Dewana Rocket raced wide on the home turn.  Acer and Party Muscles collided entering the home straight checking Party Muscles.  Lightfoot Lass and Vineyard collided entering the home straight causing Vineyard to collide with Blue Suede Shoes.

Mr. Cashking was quick to begin.  Hurricane Blake was slow to begin.  Galloping Tina, Weeona Yoshi and She Got Fire collided soon after the start checking She Got Fire.  Pacific Coast and Miss Tatts collided on the first turn checking Miss Tatts, causing Tears In Eyes to contact the running rail.  Miss Tatts and Galloping Tina collided on the home turn checking Miss Tatts.  Galloping Tina was checked off Pacific Coast entering the home straight.

Tears In Eyes was vettted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Sharon's Gold went up with the lids at box rise.  Rocky's Kayo and Ruby's Rosa were slow to begin.  Hurricane Billie and Wolfie's Squeeze collided approaching the first turn checking Hurricane Billie, Straaljager and Spotlight.  Wolfie's Squeeze crossed to the rail on the first turn and collided with Madonya checking Wolfie's Squeeze; Hurricane Billie galloped on Wolfie's Squeeze as a result checking Wolfie's Squeeze, Ruby's Rosa and Rocky's Kayo and severely checking Spotlight and Hurricane Billie.  Wolfie's Squeeze galloped on Madonya on the first turn causing Madonya and Straaljager to collide checking Ruby's Rosa and severely checking Madonya and Straaljager.  Rocky's Kayo galloped on Straaljager approaching the home turn.  Ruby's Rosa crossed to the rail on the home turn checking Spotlight, Hurricane Billie and Rocky's Kayo.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Cee Me Ignite upon arrival on course, prior to kennelling, a pre-race sample was subsequently taken.

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Archer the trainer of the greyhound Class Edge regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Class Edge last raced on 29/07/18.  Mr. Archer advised the greyhound was returning to racing following a fractured left tibia.

Stewards spoke to Mr. F. Bickerton the representative for the greyhound Pacific Action regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Pacific Action last raced on 04/07/18.  Mr. Bickerton advised the greyhound was returning to racing following a spell.

Spectator was quick to begin.  Modern Jagger was slow to begin.  Class Edge, Cee Me Ignite and Pacific Action collided soon after the start checking Good Move.  Rapanui Surprise and Good Move collided on the first turn.  Rapanui Surprise and Titanium Boy collided approaching the home turn checking Titanium Boy.  Rapanui Surprise and Good Move collided entering the home straight.

Double Black, Joraddi, Dewana Result and Walk Woody Walk collided approaching the first turn checking Walk Woody Walk.  Rattle Gate faltered approaching the first turn and subsequently tailed off.  Double Black, Joraddi and Dewana Result collided on the first turn checking Dewana Result.  Meehan Barney galloped on Mr. Pendles approaching the home turn checking Meehan Barney, Double Black and Dewana Result.  Walk Woody Walk and Double Black collided approaching the home turn checking Double Black.  Walk Woody Walk was checked off Dewana Result entering the home straight.

Rattle Gate was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right thigh, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from River Crossing - winner of the event.

Screaming Oaks crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Our Aqua Blue, Screaming Oaks and Iggy Wiggy and severely checking Destini Exactor which stumbled.  Screaming Oaks and Iggy Wiggy collided on the first turn checking Iggy Wiggy.  Meehan Deano raced wide on the home turn.

Amlin Miss and Tuiaki Dora collided soon after the start checking Bossino and Kalani Amy.  Bossino and Kalani Amy collided approaching the first turn.  Bossino was checked off Amlin Freddie on the first turn checking Bossino, Kalani Amy and News Print.  Amlin Miss, Tuiaki Dora and Goorawin collided on the first turn checking Tuiaki Dora and severely checking Amlin Miss; News Print, Bossino and Kalani Amy were checked as a result causing Amlin Miss, News Print, Bossino and Kalani Amy to race wide.  Amlin Freddie galloped on Tuiaki Dora on the first turn.  Amlin Miss raced wide approaching the home turn.  News Print cramped in the home straight.

News Print was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound showed signs of cramp, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Ms. C. Haigh the trainer of the greyhound News Print.  Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (cramp) Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a satisfactory trial before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was taken from Zipping Winnie.

House Of Luck was slow to begin.  More Despondent was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Good One Carl, Zipping Winnie and Hurricane Craig collided soon after the start.  Bye Bye Brad was checked off Little Samara approaching the first turn.  More Despondent galloped on House Of Luck approaching the home turn.  House Of Luck and More Despondent collided on the home turn.

A pre-race sample was taken from Supercity Star.

Miss Walt and Aladdin Prince were quick to begin.  Further Dreamer and Supercity Star collided approaching the first turn severely checking Further Dreamer; Weeona Garf and Invictus Ester were checked as a result.  Supercity Star and Tui collided approaching the home turn.  Supercity Star was checked off Tui on the home turn.

A pre-race sample was taken from Problem Solved.

My Names Rhonda was quick to begin.  Dashing Pace and Lektra Miss were slow to begin.  Dashing Pace crossed to the outside approaching the home turn causing Lektra Damage to gallop on Dashing Pace checking both greyhounds.  Lektra Miss galloped on My Names Rhonda in the home straight checking both greyhounds.  Piccolo Panther marred Problem Solved approaching the winning post, checking Piccolo Panther, Problem Solved and Crash Rality.

Piccolo Panther was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Stewards spoke to Ms. A. Powell the trainer of the greyhound Piccolo Panther regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under GAR 69(1) Stewards charged Piccolo Panther with marring.  Ms. Powell pleaded guilty to the charge, Piccolo Panther was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and it was directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Ms. C. Barnard the trainer of Coco Marlow regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Coco Marlow last raced on 15/07/18.  Ms. Barnard stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a left elbow ligament injury.  Ms. Barnard declared a new weight of 26.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Coco Marlow last raced at 28.5kg.

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Malia the trainer of the greyhound Jungle Jacqui regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Jungle Jacqui last raced on 27/08/18.  Mr. Malia advised the greyhound was returning to racing following a left stopper injury.
