Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Problem Solved.
My Names Rhonda was quick to begin. Dashing Pace and Lektra Miss were slow to begin. Dashing Pace crossed to the outside approaching the home turn causing Lektra Damage to gallop on Dashing Pace checking both greyhounds. Lektra Miss galloped on My Names Rhonda in the home straight checking both greyhounds. Piccolo Panther marred Problem Solved approaching the winning post, checking Piccolo Panther, Problem Solved and Crash Rality.
Piccolo Panther was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Stewards spoke to Ms. A. Powell the trainer of the greyhound Piccolo Panther regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under GAR 69(1) Stewards charged Piccolo Panther with marring. Ms. Powell pleaded guilty to the charge, Piccolo Panther was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and it was directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
