Stewards spoke to Mrs Lisa Hellmuth , the representative of Nike Viper regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Nike Viper last raced on 18 September, 2018 and is returning to racing following a right wrist injury.
A pre-race sample was taken from Nike Viper.
Prior to the running of this event the outside temperature was recorded as 32.1 degrees. The kennel temperature was recorded as 20.9 degrees.
Joraddi and Nike Viper collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Jordaddi. Deano's Smidge checked off Bejarano on the first turn. Bejarando and Spokane Flick collided on the third turn.
