Prior to the running of this event the outside temperature was recorded as 33.1 degrees. The kennel temperature was recorded as 21.2 degrees.
Tijuana Icon and Charlott's Angel collided soon after the start. Desiree Dancer and Why Not Bazzar collided approaching the first turn. Why Not Bazzar and Property Power collided on the first turn checking Why Not Bazzar, severely checking Shannon Allen, Property Power and Really Magic.
Really Magic was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a torn left hind toe nail and a right hind thigh injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
