Steward's Report
Stewards removed the hot wealther restrictions as the temperature dropped below 26.0 degrees.
Dyna Arrow, Sideshow Marjen and Joraddi were slow to begin. Mercedes Red, Blunderbuss and Sideshow Marjen collided on the first turn severely checking all three greyhounds, Blunderbuss fell as a result. Lilywhites marred Marcello on the home turn and again entering the home straight checking both greyhounds. Joraddi raced wide in the home straight.
Blunderbuss was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Sutcliffe the trainer of the greyhound Lilywhites regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn and entering the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1) Stewards charged Lilywhites with marring. Mr. Sutcliffe pleaded guilty to the charge, Lilywhites was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and it was directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
