Mistaken Oaks was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left monkey muscle and left chest muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Hot Pies, Dude of Duds and Hurricane Blake were slow to begin.  Hot Pies crossed out soon after the start and raced wide throughout the event.

Disco Hips was quick to begin.  Living Daylights and Romanova were slow to begin.  Romanova was checked off Zipping Keely soon after the start.  Zipping Keely and Romanova collided on the first turn.  Piccolo Fratello and Disco Hips collided entering the back straight.  Romanova was checked off Zipping Keely approaching the third turn.  Disco Hips marred Living Daylights approaching the winning post.

Disco Hips was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Absalom the trainer of the greyhound Disco Hips regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under GAR 69(1) Stewards charged Disco Hips with marring.  Mr. Absalom pleaded guilty to the charge, Disco Hips was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and it was directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Thompson the representative for Street Outlaw regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Street Outlaw last raced on 01/08/18.  Mr. Thompson stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following an injury to both achillies.

Elfstar and May Haze collided soon after the start checking May Haze.  Elfstar clipped the heels of Street Outlaw approaching the first turn severely checking Elfstar and Macalister Ike, Elfstar fell as a result.

Macalister Ike was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Dyna Arrow, Sideshow Marjen and Joraddi were slow to begin.  Mercedes Red, Blunderbuss and Sideshow Marjen collided on the first turn severely checking all three greyhounds, Blunderbuss fell as a result.  Lilywhites marred Marcello on the home turn and again entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.  Joraddi raced wide in the home straight.

Cloncurry Girl and Karaka collided soon after the start.  Ricketts Point and Cloncurry Girl collided approaching the first turn.  Karaka and Empty Chamber collided in the home straight. Karaka and Empty Chamber raced wide in the home straight.

Lucky Tetris was quick to begin.  Serious Bolt, Snoop A Loop and My Alibi were slow to begin.  Serious Bolt was checked off Snop a Loop on the first turn severely checking My Alibi which faltered and subsequently pulled up.  Snoop A Loop was checked off Crickets Dash approaching the home turn.  Serious Bolt raced wide in the home straight.

My Alibi was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 11, it was reported that the greyhound sustained a severe spike wound to a nail bed on the left hind toe, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Trap Queen and Petey Baqui were slow to begin.  Ample Warning and Shanlyn Magic collided approaching the first turn checking Shanlyn Magic.  Shanlyn Magic was checked off Petey Baqui on the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Ms. J. Mifsud the representative for Flashing Oaks regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Flashing Oaks last raced on 28/10/18.  Ms. Mifsud stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a spell.  Ms. Mifsud declared a new weight of 31.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Flashing Oaks last raced at 30.0kg.

Banjo's Affair was slow to begin.  Super Serena and Ninetymile Turbo collided approaching the first turn.  Big Brute and Flashing Oaks collided on the first turn checking Good Move, Ninetymile Turbo and Super Serena.  Yohan and Good Move collided approaching the home turn.  Yohan was checked off Super Serena approaching the home turn.  Yohan and Super Serena raced wide in the home straight.
