Steward's Report
The outside temperature at race start time was 24.6 degrees, the inside kennel temperature immediately prior to the race when the greyhounds were retrieved was 18.1 degrees, and the humidity was 55.4%.
Sheza Dragon was a late scratching at 5.49pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to dehydration. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
A pre race sample was taken from Arlecchino.
Luka's Choice and Dyna Jenaya collided soon after the start checking Dyna Jenaya. Gunna Be Hoping and Hammer Red collided approaching the first turn. Luka's Choice and Extra Kisses collided on the first turn. Hammer Red and Gunna Be Hoping collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. Dyna Jenaya raced wide in the home straight.
Hammer Red was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
