Steward's Report
Ms N. Lund, trainer of Ko Mai Si declared a new weight of 29.0kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Ko Mai Si last raced at 27.7kg.
Stewards spoke to Ms S Greening, the representative of Punch Out regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Punch Out last raced on the 15th August 2018. Ms Green stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a seasonal spell.
Ko Mai Si, Ko Rapid Jack and Punch Out were slow to begin.
Pennyroyal Tee, Goofey Express and Chopping Spuds collided soon after the start. Busy Bella crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Ko Rapid Jack, Goofey Express and Inter Santina and severely checking Pennyroyal Tee and Chopping Spuds, Chopping Spuds stumbled and Busy Bella fell as a result.
Busy Bella was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
