Perfect Rider and Slipaway Bolt collided approaching the 200m mark. Speed Alert and Lunar Shadow collided approaching the 150m mark checking both greyhounds. Lunar Shadow checked off Crackerjack Mick at the 100m mark. Courage Crest checked off Unexplainable approaching the 50m mark and crossed out. Speed Alert and Crackerjack Mick collided approaching the 50m mark. Speed Alert checked off Crackerjack Mick approaching the winning post checking Crackerjack Mick.
Meeting Comments:
Stewards were advised by Healesville track officials that remedial works and top dressing were performed on the track on Tuesday 18th December 2018.
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr G. Laidley, the trainer of Challis Magic regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Challis Magic last raced on the 17th June 2018. Mr Laidley stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following an injured right hock. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Challis Magic trialled over the 300m from box 2, weight 31.4kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 16.83, the greyhound won by a margin of 3.25L. Challis Magic was Cleared.
