Delta's Tiara crossed to the inside at the 200m mark colliding with Dirty Stella, Tiger Minstrel and Eretria in turn checking Tiger Minstrel. Janray Wild One and Panther Lane collided at the 150m mark. Dirty Stella and Janray Wild One collided at the 100m mark. Janray Wild One checked off Panther Lane approaching the 50m mark.

Dirty Stella was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left monkey muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Regal Duke, Amber's Dolly and Big Holiday collided soon after the start checking Amber's Dolly. Spot On Mick checked off Sylo soon after the start. Azure Herrera and Spot On Mick collided at the 250m mark. Sylo and Amber's Dolly collided at the 200m mark. Amber's Dolly checked off Regal Duke at the 150m mark. Azure Herrera and Big Holiday collided at the 150m mark. Spot On Mick checked off Sylo at the 100m mark. Regal Duke and Amber's Dolly collided at the 100m mark and again approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr David Franklin, the trainer of Cullquin Panda regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Cullquin Panda last raced on 16th March 20018. The greyhound ran a satisfactory trial at Cranbourne on 14th November and was cleared. Mr Franklin stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a split right metacarpal injury and a change of kennel.

Tim Noy, trainer of Buddie's Al declared a new weight of 29.6kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Buddie's Al last raced at 28.2kg.

Western Bomber and Mammoth were slow to begin. Lyria and Sky Rising collided at the 250m mark. Cullquin Panda and Ebby's Plan collided at the 250m mark. Lyria and Sky Rising collided at the 50m mark. Western Bomber and Ebby’s Plan collided at the 50m mark. Buddie's Al raced wide for the entire event.

The judge incorrectly semaphored the numbers 1-2-3-8. The correct numbers 1-7-2-3 were semaphored before the all clear was given.

Pink Tiara was quick to begin.

Lily The Weapon and Billy Swagger collided soon after the start. Pink Tiara crossed to the outside at the 300m mark and raced wide for the remainder of the event. Lily The Weapon and Billy Swagger collided at the 250m mark. Lily the Weapon and Teacup Toni collided at the 200m mark.

Stewards noted that Gunna Be Hoping's muzzle became dislodged in running.

Gin Lee's Pride and Standing Bear collided soon after the start. Crime Minister checked off Supa Shalala soon after the start. Campeon, Gin Lee's Pride, Standing Bear and Just Jimmy collided at the 300m mark checking Crime Minister. Dyna Marge checked off Supa Shalala at the 200m mark. Gin Lee's Pride and Crime Minister collided at the 150m mark. Supa Shalala checked off Dyna Marge at the 100m mark. Supa Shalala veered off and marred Maximum Joan at the 50m mark.

Supa Shalala was vetted following the event. It was reported that greyhound sustained a left shoulder injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr J. Formosa, the representative of the greyhound Supa Shalala regarding the greyhounds racing manners at the 50m mark. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Supa Shalala with marring. Mr Formosa pleaded guilty to the charge, Supa Shalala was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Healesville and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Gunmetal Liam was slow to begin.

Bluey Can Fly was vetted following the event.  It was reported that that the greyhound sustained a left pencil muscle injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Black In Town was vetted following the event, at the trainer's request.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right shoulder injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
