Chill Out Isla, Time Saver, What A Chancer and Monrovia were slow to begin.  Crymelon Victory faltered soon after the start, lost ground and tailed off.  Crymelon Sally and Kayla's Monaro collided on the first turn, checking Crymelon Sally; causing both greyhounds to race wide on the home turn.

Crymelon Victory was vetted and after being re-vetted following event five, it was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hindleg hock injury, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Almani Tee Rex, Hollywood Donuts and Zipping Keely collided approaching the first turn, checking Hollywood Donuts and Almani Tee Rex.  Kintamani galloped on the heels of Frankie Moss on the first turn; causing both greyhounds to race wide.  Frankie Moss and Alamni Tee Rex raced wide on the home turn.

Almani Tee Rex was vetted and after being re-vetted following event five, it was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr David Gehan, the trainer of the greyhound Almani Tee Rex regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) Stewards charged Almani Tee Rex with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr Gehan pleaded not guilty to the charge, Almani Tee Rex was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Horsham and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

The start of this event was delayed due to difficulties in the boxing of Crymelon Rip.

Strike Power checked off the heels of Through approaching the first turn, checking Strike Power.  Through, Crymelon Rip and You Blue collided on the first turn, checking Crymelon Rip which collided with Strike Power; causing Strike Power and Zambora Nozie to race wide.  Strike Power and Crymelon Rip collided approaching the home turn.  Through raced wide on the home turn.  Strike Power, Crymelon Rip and You Blue collided several times in the home straight.

Strike Power was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a tail injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to handler, Mr John Weir-Smith regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Crymleon Rip.  After taking evidence from Mr Weir-Smith (handler) and Mr Bruce Baxter (trainer) Stewards issued a warning to Mr Baxter, the trainer of Crymelon Rip regarding the greyhound’s boxing manners.

Short Note was slow to begin, knuckled and lost ground.  Why Not Fletch crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Baby Max Fozz and Striking Gold.  Short Note and Striking Gold collided on the first turn, checking Striking Gold.  Short Note checked off Miss Jacky on the home turn.  Short Note and Miss Jacky collided in the home straight.

Kraken Copper, Big Bazza and Taxing collided soon after the start, checking Kraken Copper.  Catfish Fozz checked off the heels of Ice Cold Yug on the first turn and raced wide.  Valhalla Girl, Taxing and Big Bazza collided approaching the home turn, checking Taxing.  Big Bazza and Ice Cold Yug collided in the home straight.

Lochinvar Deus was slow to begin.  Destini Baby, Lochinvar Deus and Star Project collided approaching the first turn, checking Destini Baby which lost ground.  Star Project, Railway Burra, Spyfection and Top Alcohol collided on the first turn, checking Railway Burra, Spyfection and Top Alcohol; causing Spyfection and Top Alcohol to race wide.  Apex Within raced wide on the first turn and again on the home turn.  Star Project and Railway Burra collided entering the home straight.

Destini Baby was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Wait There was quick to begin.  Pyrenees Petraca checked off the heels of Icarus approaching the first turn.  Sideshow Marjen, Icarus and Fast Trapper collided on the first turn, checking Icarus and Fast Trapper; causing Zipping Amber to race wide.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr Adam Richardson, the trainer of Mossy Girl regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Mossy Girl last raced on 2 June 2018.  Mr Richardson stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following an achilles injury and being seasonal.  Pursuant to GAR 77A, Mossy Girl trialled over the 410m from box one, weight 28.7 kgs, the greyhound was placed third in a field of four.  The time of the trial was 23:698, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of five lengths.  Mossy Girl was Cleared.
