Swift Heidi was quick to begin. Vesper Bale and Airly Spence were slow to begin. Swift Heidi faltered approaching the home turn and lost ground.
Swift Heidi underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right back muscle and left monkey muscle. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
Mandible underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right front toe. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
