Steward's Report
Aqualite and Aston Jagger collided soon after the start. Zharnel lost ground approaching the first turn. Aston Jagger and Tana's Angel collided on the first turn. Manila Beef and Doorkeeper collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. Manila Beef crossed to the outside entering the home straight checking Aqualite severely checking Aston Jagger and Manila Beef. Tana's Angel, Destini Florida and Zharnel collided in the home straight checking Zharnel. Destini Florida and Tana's Angel collided approaching the winning post.
Zharnel underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right groin injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Destini Florida underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration left fore medial toe. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Doorkeeper underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right hind shin soreness. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr S.Divers the trainer of Doorkeeper regarding the greyhounds manners on the home turn. After hearing Mr Divers submissions, all available footage and Stewards own observations, no further action was taken.
