Thomeli Tash and Steorra collided approaching the first turn checking Thomeli Tash. Miss Dangerwood, Yaala Eclipse and Mexican Ned collided on the first turn checking Yaala Eclipse and Mexican Ned. Thomeli Tash, Yaala Eclipse and Mexican Ned collided approaching the home turn checking Yaala Eclipse. Dynamic Ross raced wide approaching the home turn. Thomeli Tash and Mexican Ned collided on the home turn. Dynamic Ross faltered on the home turn and lost ground from that point.
Dynamic Ross was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right back muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
