Steward's Report
Kennelling opened approximately 15 minutes later than advertised, due to the late arrival of the on-course veterinarian.
Full Of Rage and Kid Winslow were slow to begin.
Rapid Highway and Crackerjack Scot collided soon after the start. Crackerjack Scot, Maximum Zoe, Full Of Rage and Nimble Leo collided soon after the start checking Maximum Zoe. Inga Assalt and Rapid Highway collided on the first turn checking Inga Assalt, Maximum Zoe and Full Of Rage. Bush Mate galloped on the heels of Rapid Highway on the first turn checking Bush Mate, Rapid Highway, Inga Assalt and Full Of Rage. Maximum Zoe checked off Full Of Rage approaching the home turn. Bush Mate and Rapid Highway collided in the home straight.
A sample was taken from Nimble Leo - the winner of the event.
Maximum Zoe was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right pencil/whip muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
