Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Geopark Ruby upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Twilight Liason and Azure Dragon were slow to begin.
Hardy's Banjo and Miss Shieka collided soon after the start and approaching the first turn. Oshkosh Jay and Geopark Ruby collided approaching the first turn. Twilight Liason checked off Hardy's Banjo on the first turn, and collided with Miss Shieka, which fell, severely checking Power Sensation as a result. Twilight Liason raced wide on the home turn.
Miss Shieka was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained several abrasions to the nostril and left thigh. No stand down period was imposed.
