Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Ms. B. Kinder, the trainer of Hanga regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Hanga last raced on 22nd May 2018. Ms. Kinder stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following an extended spell.
Myrtle Grange was slow to begin.
Fiery Universe, Rocket Riley and Hanga collided soon after the start. serverly checking Wicked Hillary which lost ground. Rocket Riley checked off Standing Bear on the first turn. Hanga and Big Kenny Bobo collided on the home turn checking Hanga.
Wicked Hillary was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right hind groin, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
