Stewards spoke to Mrs. A. Panetta, the handler of Cruising Solo regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Cruising Solo last raced on 26th June 2018. Mrs Panetta stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following an injury to the right hock.

Love A Chat was quick to begin.  Cruising Solo and Kimura were slow to begin. 

Cruising Solo checked off Don's Noisey soon after the start and lost ground as a result.  Don's Noisey checked off Kimura approaching the first turn.  Kimura and Ruby's Rosa collided approaching the home turn, on the home turn and again entering the home straight.  Love A Chat and Lacarabine collided on the home turn.  Electric Hippy and Octo Flash collided approaching the winning post. 

Cruising Solo was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained shin soreness to the right hind leg, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Kracka Barcia was slow to begin. 

Big Mary, Red King Prince and Monoak collided approaching the first turn.  Coconut Gloria and Elle's Toy collided approaching the first turn, checking Elle's Toy and Kracka Barcia.  Red King Prince and Monoak collided on the first turn.  Red King Prince and Monoak collided in the home straight.

Monoak,  which was injured on the finish on lure was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a small laceration to the nostril, no stand down period was imposed.

Fawn Secrets and Inga Ross were slow to begin.  

Fairly Legal pulled up soon after the start.  Axel's A Rebel and Aston Jewel collided approaching the first turn.  Fawn Secrets checked off Kissable approaching the first turn.  Inga Ross and Sarah Smirnoff collided on the first turn. Fawn Secrets checked off Aston Jewel entering the home straight. Aston Jewel checked off Axel's A Rebel entering the home straight. Fawn Secrets and Aston Jewel collided in the home straight.

Fairly Legal was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. N. Mandylaris, the trainer of the greyhound Fairly Legal regarding the greyhounds racing manners soon after the start.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Fairly Legal with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Mandylaris pleaded guilty to the charge, Fairly Legal was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Geelong and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was taken from Geopark Ruby upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.

Twilight Liason and Azure Dragon were slow to begin.

Hardy's Banjo and Miss Shieka collided soon after the start and approaching the first turn.  Oshkosh Jay and Geopark Ruby collided approaching the first turn.  Twilight Liason checked off Hardy's Banjo on the first turn, and collided with Miss Shieka, which fell, severely checking Power Sensation as a result. Twilight Liason raced wide on the home turn. 

Miss Shieka was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained several abrasions to the nostril and left thigh.  No stand down period was imposed.

Ms. B. Kinder trainer of Spyfection declared a new weight of 28.7kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Spyfection last raced at 27.3kg.

Wide Sticks and Mr. No Worries were slow to begin.

Delaware County, which was injured on the finish on lure was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a complete fracture of the mid -ulna-radius, and was humanely euthanased.

Stewards spoke to Ms. B. Kinder, the trainer of Hanga regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Hanga last raced on 22nd May 2018. Ms. Kinder stated that  the greyhound was returning to racing following an extended spell.

Myrtle Grange was slow to begin. 

Fiery Universe, Rocket Riley and Hanga collided soon after the start. serverly checking Wicked Hillary which lost ground.  Rocket Riley checked off Standing Bear on the first turn. Hanga and Big Kenny Bobo collided on the home turn checking Hanga.

Night Theory and Kayley's Comet were slow to begin.  

Belena Bold and Chrissy Pee collided soon after the start.  Belena Bold checked off Voodoo Hustler approaching the first turn.  Belena Bold and Our Turbo Girl collided several times approaching the home turn.  Night Theory checked off Voodoo Hustler on the home turn.  Chrissy Pee and Kayley's Comet collided approaching the winning post.

Night Theory was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right and left thigh, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Ohio Fernando and Pop Do It were slow to begin.

Cette To Dance  and Call Me Crazy collided on the first turn.  Cavalry Rose and Pop Do It collided approaching the first turn.  Pop Do It checked off Call Me Crazy on the first turn.  Stylish Bree and Cavalry Rose collided on the home turn.  Stylish Bree and Cavalry Rose collided approaching the winning post. 

Mr. P. Cusack handler of Gin Lee's Bullet declared a new weight of 31.0kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Gin Lee's Bullet last raced at 29.6kg.

Satisfactory Trial Results -Adam Mandam trialled over the 400m from box 1, weight 31.0kg, the greyhound was placed second in a field of 5 starters. The time of the trial was 22:59, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of half a length. Adam Mandam was Cleared . 

Satisfactory Trial Results -Jakesta trialled over the 400m from box 3, weight 35.0kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of 5 starters. The time of the trial was 22:59, the greyhound won by a margin of half a length. Jakesta was Cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. M Delbridge, the trainer of Go Slow Goldy regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Go Slow Goldy last raced on 18th March 2018. Mr Delbridge stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a left hock injury. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Go Slow Goldy trialled over the 400m from box 6, weight 28.0kg, the greyhound was placed fifth in a field of 5 starters. The time of the trial was 22:59, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 16 lengths, following a severe check on the first turn. Go Slow Goldy was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results -Tycoran Gold trialled over the 400m from box 8, weight 33.7kg, the greyhound was placed third in a field of 5 starters. The time of the trial was 22:59, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1.5 lengths. Tycoran Gold was Cleared.
