Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Mon Mekki Kahn.
Tarika Tara and Twilight Liason collided soon after the start. Azure Dragon checked off Challis Annie soon after the start. Tarika Tara checked off Big Deal at the 250m mark, checking Tarika Tara. Twilight Liason crossed to the outside at the 250m mark and continued to race wide for the remainder of the event. Big Deal and Challis Annie collided approaching the winning post, checking Challis Annie.
Twilight Liason was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury was found. Stewards spoke to Mr Theo Vantaarling (representing - Ms F Vantaarlling) regarding the performance of Twilight Liason, in particular at the 250m mark. Mr Vantaarling stated that the greyhound performs better when leading and agreed with the Stewards observations that the greyhound did not drive forward at the 250m mark. Stewards issued a warning to Mr Vantaarling regarding the racing manners of Twilight Liason at the 250m mark.
