Carson County and Unbackable collided soon after the start. Dee Dee One crossed to the outside soon after the start and collided with Wolf Point. Dee Dee One checked off Wolf Point at the 300m mark. Succession Plan and Wolf Point collided approaching the 250m mark. Unbackable checked off Dee Dee One at the 100m mark. Succession Plan and Becket collided at the 100m mark. Wolf Point and Becket collided approaching the winning post.
Stewards interviewed licensed trainer, Mr Joshua Formosa, representing both himself and trainer Mr Jason Formosa, after he failed to produce the registration papers for Wolf Point and Carson County. Stewards, in accepting Mr Joshua Formosa's explanation, took no further action other than to remind both Mr Joshua and Mr Jason Formosa of their responsibilities and that any future non-production of papers will result in a fine being issued.
