A pre-race sample was taken from Sooky Jooky.
Dr Luvdisc was slow to begin. Porscha's Girl, Veil Successor and Sooky Jooky collided on the home turn, checking Veil Successor. Sooky Jooky and Veil Successor collided entering the home straight, checking Veil Successor.
Fiesty Ivy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the right hindleg paw, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Veil Successor was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right foreleg chest muscle injury, a three day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards issued a warning to Haydn Wilkinson, the representative of Veil Successor, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching and on the home turn.
