Steward's Report
An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Issy Keats, engaged in this event on Monday, 9 April 2018 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Krabi was a late scratching at 2:37pm order of Stewards, after representative Mr Justin Perkins (acting on behalf of Trainer Mrs Natalie Perkins) presented the incorrect greyhound to the Stewards at kennelling. Mrs Perkins was subsequently charged with a breach of GAR 31 (1). Mr Perkins pleaded guilty to the charge on Mrs Perkin's behalf. Mrs Perkins was subsequently fined the sum of $250.
A pre-race sample was taken from Paws And Go.
Slippery Parker and Issy Keats were quick to begin. Paws And Go and Buckle Up Spud collided approaching the first turn. Paws And Go brushed the running rail on the first turn. Slippery Parker and Issy Keats collided on the first turn, checking Issy Keats, Buckle Up Spud and Evie Girl. Paws And Go checked off Miss Dozer approaching the home turn. Knock About and Buckle Up Spud collided entering the home straight.
