Dr Jezabel was a late scratching at 12.09pm due to injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Jungle Jacqui was slow to begin. Milly's Choice, Machiko and Philo Bale collided soon after the start. Milly's Choice and Jungle Jacqui collided on the first turn and again approaching the second turn. Machiko and Dashing Impulse collided on the third turn. Jungle Jacqui checked off Milly's Choice entering the home straight.
