Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Acer.
Galloping Rokyto crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Garrido and Bags Of Bucks. Ima Ghost Buster and Dyna Caleb collided approaching the first turn checking Dyna Caleb. Acer and Bags Of Bucks collided approaching the first turn. Acer and Dyna Cadet collided on the third turn. Dyna Caleb raced wide throughout the event.
Galloping Rokyto was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
After viewing all available video footage, Stewards issued a warning to Mr. R. Conway, the trainer of Galloping Rokyto regarding the greyhound's racing manners soon after the start.
Stewards spoke to Mr Robert Conway regarding the step up in distance and improved performance of his greyhound Galloping Rokyto. Mr Conway stated that he had not tried the greyhound over the 525m before today’s run and did not have any expectations this evening. He further stated that the greyhound was bred to run the distance and he feels she will continue to improve with further racing. Stewards directed that a sample be taken from the greyhound.
