Misload was quick to begin.  Nostalgia was slow to begin.  Burning Steel clipped the heels of Fabulous Cash soon after the start and subsequently fell checking Galloping Bluboy and Nostalgia.  Fabulous Cash checked off Rajasthan approaching the first turn.  Fabulous Cash checked off Little Freck on the first turn.  Rajasthan crossed to the rail entering the back straight checking Misload, Little Freck and Fabulous Cash.  Little Freck and Fabulous Cash collided in the back straight.  Nostalgia, Little Freck and Fabulous Cash collided on the second turn.  Nostalgia crossed to the outside on the second turn checking Little Freck and Fabulous Cash.  Tinker Ben and Galloping Bluboy collided from the second turn to the home turn.  Fabulous Cash checked off Nostalgia on the home turn.

Burning Steel was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Galloping Rokyto crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Garrido and Bags Of Bucks.  Ima Ghost Buster and Dyna Caleb collided approaching the first turn checking Dyna Caleb.  Acer and Bags Of Bucks collided approaching the first turn.  Acer and Dyna Cadet collided on the third turn.  Dyna Caleb raced wide throughout the event.

Galloping Rokyto was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

After viewing all available video footage, Stewards issued a warning to Mr. R. Conway, the trainer of Galloping Rokyto regarding the greyhound's racing manners soon after the start. 

Stewards spoke to Mr Robert Conway regarding the step up in distance and improved performance of his greyhound Galloping Rokyto. Mr Conway stated that he had not tried the greyhound over the 525m before today’s run and did not have any expectations this evening. He further stated that the greyhound was bred to run the distance and he feels she will continue to improve with further racing. Stewards directed that a sample be taken from the greyhound.

A pre-race sample was taken from Denny Blue.

Cosa Bona and Tarquin Bob were slow to begin.  Denny Blue and Belleperi Miss collided soon after the start.  Denny Blue and Queen Of Sprite collided on the second turn.  Belleperi Miss checked off Denny Blue on the second turn severely checking Belleperi Miss;  severely checking Cosa Bona.

Totally Bullish, Ninetymile Hawk and Shrek's Rusty were slow to begin.  Totally Bullish, Cruisy's Patch, Ninetymile Hawk, Dubai Prince and Shrek's Rusty collided approaching the first turn checking Shrek's Rusty and Dubai Prince.  Totally Bullish and Cruisy's Patch collided in the back straight.  Iona Misty and Totally Bullish collided in the back straight checking Totally Bullish and Ninetymile Hawk.  Dubai Prince checked off Cruisy's Patch on the second turn.

Where's Lachie and Magic Maya were slow to begin.  Remo Gully and Nimble Lucy collided soon after the start.  Dr. Gidget eased approaching the first turn.  Where's Lachie and Bold Reflection collided approaching the second turn checking Where's Lachie, Bold Reflection and Remo Gully.  Dr. Gidget and Bold Reflection collided on the second turn checking Dr. Gidget.  Magic Maya  checked off Aladdin Prince on the third turn.  Dr. Gidget checked off Where's Lachie approaching the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Ms. J. Gill, the representative of the greyhound Dr. Gidget regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the first turn.  Dr. Gidget was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound was found to have soreness in the left and right back muscles and left and right pencil muscles, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Dr. Gidget with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Ms. Gill pleaded Not Guilty to the charge, Dr. Gidget was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Dr Jezabel was a late scratching at 12.09pm due to injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Jungle Jacqui was slow to begin.  Milly's Choice, Machiko and Philo Bale collided soon after the start.  Milly's Choice and Jungle Jacqui collided on the first turn and again approaching the second turn.  Machiko and Dashing Impulse collided on the third turn.  Jungle Jacqui checked off Milly's Choice entering the home straight.

A sample was taken from Popowski - the winner of the event.

Call Me Waylan was slow to begin.  Emilia Mel checked off Not Loitering approaching the first turn.  Not Loitering, Dr. Luvdisc and Pippa's Pride collided approaching the first turn checking Dr. Luvdisc and Simply Mystic.  Not Loitering and Pippa's Pride collided on the first turn checking Not Loitering, Pippa's Pride and Emilia Mel.  Not Loitering and Pippa's Pride collided in the back straight.  Knew It and Laurentide Ice collided on the second turn causing Knew It to collide with Simply Mystic checking Knew It. 

No Passengers was slow to begin.  Anjing Betina, Ends Well and Tarika Tara collided soon after the start.  Sharp Missile crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Wild Hunny.  Anjing Betina and Tarika Tara collided on the first turn and again approaching the second turn.  Tarika Tara checked off Ends Well on the third turn.

Able Bess crossed in soon after the start checking Soap and Dukestar.  Aremac Igor, Mandela Sun, Siver Lightning and Delta's Magic collided on the first turn checking Aremac Igor, Siver Lightning, Delta's Magic and Dukestar.  Siver Lightning and Delta's Magic collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.

Delta's Magic was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Gammy's Choice and Flip were slow to begin.  Gammy's Choice and Elswyk Max collided soon after the start.  Elswyk Max and Flip collided approaching the first turn checking Elswyk Max.  Gammy's Choice stumbled in the back straight.  Gammy's Choice raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

Gammy's Choice was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a small laceration to the left hind toe and left elbow.  No stand down period was imposed.

Le Doyen was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right front toe, a 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Maderra and Malick were slow to begin.  Trinity Kid, Bella Rhode and Tricky Trey collided approching the first turn.  Tinderella and Slick Diamond collided on the first turn checking Tinderella and Trinity Kid and severely checking Maderra; Bella Rhode was checkd as a result.  Tinderella and Malick collided on the home turn.

Stewards were informed by Mr. C. Kas, the trainer of Premo Potion regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Premo Potion last raced on 29th October, 2017.  Mr. Kas stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a right hock injury.

Zipping Pedro and Premo Potion were slow to begin.  Olary and Shogun Sammy collided approaching the first turn checking Shogun Sammy.  Zipping Pedro checked off Shogun Sammy on the first turn. Zipping Pedro faltered on the first turn.  Shogun Sammy and Simbarea collided on the first turn checking Simbarea.  Early Spring checked off Olary on the first turn.  Olary raced wide entering the home straight.  Premo Potion and Magic Myer collided approaching the winning post.

Zipping Pedro was vetted and after being re-vetted after event it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right elbow. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Re-Vetted Greyhound - Nash Road Betty was presented for a re-vet and was Cleared to race.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Nash Road Betty  trialled over the 315m from box 3, weight 27.6kgs, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 17.96,  the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 3.75 lengths.  Nash Road Betty was Cleared.
