Evil Pedro checked off Shanlyn Bubbles soon after the start.  Evil Pedro and Street Artist collided approaching the first turn checking Evil Pedro.  Shanlyn Bubbles crossed in approaching the first turn checking Shooters Ali and Brakae.  Evil Pedro raced wide approaching the first turn.  Brakae and Street Artist collided on the first turn checking Street Artist.  Shooters Ali crossed out on the first turn checking Midnight Muscat.  Shooters Ali raced wide in the home straight.

Evil Pedro was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr A. Graham, the trainer of Evil Pedro and reminded him of his responsibility's regarding his failure to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound for racing.

Stewards issued a warning to Ms.T Crawford after she inadvertently boxed her Greyhound before direction from the starter. (GAR 51 (4)).

Mickie Raven and Architecture were quick to begin.  Jagger Circuit was slow to begin.

Strycova crossed out soon after the start causing Shanlyn Magic to clip the heels of Strycova.  Strycova and Architecture collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Strycova crossed out on the home turn checking Architecture and severely checking Strycova.  Alfie's Affair raced wide in the home straight.

Darb's The Man was a late scratching at 5.44pm due to a vehicle breakdown (GAR 31).  A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Like My Bro checked off Weeona Bonnie approaching the first turn.  Posie checked off Farfalla Nera on the first turn.  Farfalla Nera and Posie collided approaching the home turn.  Posie clipped the heels of Farfalla nera approaching the home turn.  Farfalla Nera contatced the rail on the home turn checking Farfalla Nera.

A pre-race was unable to be obtained so a post-race sample was taken from Posie (4th place getter).

Dallas Sky, Toffee Lady and Midgey collided approaching the first turn checking Midgey causing Toffee Lady to race wide.  Toffee Lady and Midgey collided on the first turn checking Midgey.  Bluehawk Ralph checked off Toffee Lady on the second turn.  Dallas Sky checked off Aston Groucho on the third turn.  Toffee Lady contacted the running rail on the third turn and lost ground.  Aston Groucho marred Dallas Sky entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.  Totally Fab checked off Aston Groucho approaching the winning post.

Toffee Lady was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left wrist and right metatarsal, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Aston Groucho was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr D. Knocker, the representative of the greyhound Aston Groucho regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Aston Groucho with marring. Mr Knocker pleaded guilty to the charge, Aston Groucho was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Cranbourne and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Oozing Mojo was slow to begin.

Lady Alliance checked off Alina Grand approaching the first turn.  Perrie The Fairy, Etiquette and Minnie Wizard collided approaching the first turn.  Alina Grand and Perrie The Fairy collided on the first turn checking Alina Grand, Perrie The Fairy, Adala Son and Oozing Mojo, Oozing Mojo and Perrie The Fairy raced wide as a result.

Stewards spoke to the Mr R. Martin the presentative regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Tom's Gift. Stewards directed that Tom's Gift be boxed first in future events.

Stewards spoke to J. Quagliaro, the trainer of Big Kenny Bobo regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Big Kenny Bobo last raced on 27 September 2018. Mr Quagliaro stated that the greyhound was returning from a right hock injury.  Mr Quagliaro also declared a new weight of 32.1kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Big Kenny Bobo last raced at 30.9kgs.

Baggy's Request was quick to begin.  In A Pickle and Shrek's Capri were slow to begin.

Why Not Hugh checked off Big Kenny Bobo approaching the first turn causing Why Not Hugh to stumble and collided with Folding Green as a result.  Big Kenny Bobo and Annaley Rooka collided on the first turn severely checking Annaley Rooka.  Folding Green galloped on Why Not Hugh on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds.

Shrek's Capri was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
