Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to J. Quagliaro, the trainer of Big Kenny Bobo regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Big Kenny Bobo last raced on 27 September 2018. Mr Quagliaro stated that the greyhound was returning from a right hock injury. Mr Quagliaro also declared a new weight of 32.1kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Big Kenny Bobo last raced at 30.9kgs.
Baggy's Request was quick to begin. In A Pickle and Shrek's Capri were slow to begin.
Why Not Hugh checked off Big Kenny Bobo approaching the first turn causing Why Not Hugh to stumble and collided with Folding Green as a result. Big Kenny Bobo and Annaley Rooka collided on the first turn severely checking Annaley Rooka. Folding Green galloped on Why Not Hugh on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds.
Shrek's Capri was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
