A pre-race sample was taken from Shooters Ali upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
A pre-race sample was taken from Street Artist.
Evil Pedro checked off Shanlyn Bubbles soon after the start. Evil Pedro and Street Artist collided approaching the first turn checking Evil Pedro. Shanlyn Bubbles crossed in approaching the first turn checking Shooters Ali and Brakae. Evil Pedro raced wide approaching the first turn. Brakae and Street Artist collided on the first turn checking Street Artist. Shooters Ali crossed out on the first turn checking Midnight Muscat. Shooters Ali raced wide in the home straight.
Evil Pedro was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr A. Graham, the trainer of Evil Pedro and reminded him of his responsibility's regarding his failure to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound for racing.
Stewards issued a warning to Ms.T Crawford after she inadvertently boxed her Greyhound before direction from the starter. (GAR 51 (4)).
