Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr Jason Wickham, the trainer of Fine Edge, regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Fine Edge last raced on 27 July 2017. Mr Wickham stated that the greyhound had changed kennels. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Fine Edge trialled over the 400m from box one, weight 27.2kg, the greyhound was placed third in a field of four. The time of the trial was 23.12, the greyhound beaten by a margin of 7.5L. Fine Edge was not cleared.

Broadway Belle last raced on 20 June 2017. Mr Mathieson stated that the greyhound had sustained an injury to the back muscle. The time of the trial was 23.12, the greyhound beaten by a margin of 1L. Broadway Belle was cleared.
