Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Ms Norma Gost, the trainer of Joe Panther, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Joe Panther last raced on 25 September 2017. Ms Gost stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following an injury to the right hock.
A pre-race sample was taken from Our China Plate.
Blackpool Blast was quick to begin. Joe Panther, Neb's Shark and Kaya's Pearl were slow to begin. Our China Plate was very slow to begin (5L).
Neb's Shark and Kaya's Pearl collided approaching the first turn, checking Neb's Shark. Warming Galo's and Bomber's Baby collided approaching the first turn. Joe Panther checked off Warming Galo's approaching the home turn. Joe Panther and Our China Plate collided in the home straight.
