Steward's Report
Thera Cee was a late scratching at 2.14pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to dehydration. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
This event was re-scheduled to race at 6:48pm.
A pre-race sample was taken from Took My Money.
Banjo Moment, Mexican Ned and Riverdale Paddy were slow to begin.
Banjo Moment and Mexican Ned collided soon after the start. Banjo Moment checked off Mexican Ned approaching the first turn. Mexican Ned and Riverdale Paddy collided on the first turn. Miss Camelot and Took My Money collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.
MEETING COMMENTS:
Satisfactory Trial Results (Cramp) - Riverdale Danger trialled over the 400mtrs from box 1, weight 34.2kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 23.23, the greyhound won by a margin of 1/2 length. Riverdale Danger was Cleared. Riverdale Danger was vetted subsequent to the trial and no apparent injury was found.
Satisfactory Trial Results - Blackpool Remi trialled over the 400mtrs from box 3, weight 28.4kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 23.23, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 3/4 length. Blackpool Remi was Cleared.
