Steward's Report
Stewards spoke with Mr. Brandon Mackie after Follow The Sun escaped the handler during the parade to the boxes. The greyhound was examined by the On-Track Veterinarian and deemed fit to race. The start of this event was delayed by approximately two minutes. Stewards concluded that a snapped collar caused the escape, and no further action was taken.
World War and Booker Man were quick to begin.
