Steward's Report
Mina Angel was quick to begin. Viking Bale was slow to begin.
Zipping Zazu (checked on the first turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hip injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Ms. Deborah Coleman regarding the racing manners of Zipping Zazu on the first turn. After hearing submissions from Ms. Coleman, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, a warning was issued.
Smiley Shoshone raced wide in the home straight.
A post-race blood sample was taken from Mrs. Smith - the winner of the event.
