Aston Liesel was quick to begin. Birkenhead and Coco Marlow collided on the first turn, checking Coco Marlow. Goorawin and Blackhawk Parker collided approaching the home turn, checking Goorawin. Coco Marlow checked off Calabrese Bullet approaching the home turn, checking Calabrese Bullet and Buckle Up Scotch, causing Buckle Up Scotch to race wide.
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. Brandon Mackie, the representative of Radiant Angel regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Radiant Angel last raced on 24th December 2017. Mr. Mackie stated that the greyhound had been on season. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Radiant Angel trialled over the 311m from box one, weight 26.7kg, the greyhound was placed third in a field of four. The time of the trial was 18.14, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 7.5 lengths, checked on the first turn. Radiant Angel was Cleared.
