Blackpool Remi and Shady Thief were slow to begin. Drama Rama, Shady Thief, Secret Rama and Kip Moss collided soon after the start, checking Shady Thief and Kip Moss. General Missy crossed to the inside approaching the first turn, checking Secret Rama. Secret Rama and Shady Thief collided on the first turn, severely checking Shady Thief, which contacted the running rail as a result. Secret Rama and General Missy collided approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Secret Rama checked off General Missy approaching the home turn. Shady Thief was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left monkey muscle, and a spike wound to the left hind fibula, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Blunderbuss checked off Harper's Hand on the home turn, severely checking Blunderbuss, which stumbled as a result. Shanlyn Bubbles and Blunderbuss collided entering the home straight. Polo Pete and Kazza Magoo raced wide in the home straight. 

Mr. Glenn Campbell was fined the sum of $50 for failing to ensure the registration papers/registration card were produced for the greyhound Princess Parker, pursuant to GAR 33.

Lady Ceecee and Tahlia's Diamond collided approaching the home turn, severely checking both greyhounds. Lady Ceecee eased and collided with Tahlia's Diamond, entering the home straight and again in the home straight.

Lady Cecee was vetted following the event and re-vetted following event seven. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

A sample was taken from Lady Bullseye - the winner of the event. 

Stewards spoke to Ms. Karen Leek, the trainer of the greyhound Lady Ceecee regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn and again in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Lady Ceecee with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Ms. Leek pleaded guilty to the charge, Lady Ceecee was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Cranbourne and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Our Gal Livy and Two Dollar Pots were quick to begin. Give Away King and Impala were slow to begin. Oh So Sleek and Give Away King collided soon after the start. Two Dollar Pots, Johnny Black, Oh So Sleek and Give Away King collided approaching the first turn, checking Johnny Black. Ratajkowski and Temujin collided on the first turn, checking Ratajkowski. Give Away King checked off Ratajkowski on the first turn. Johnny Black and Temujin collided on the first turn. Two Dollar Pots and Give Away King collided approaching the second turn. Oh So Sleek crossed to the inside in the back straight, checking Our Gal Livy and Impala. Give Away King and Ratajkowski collided approaching the third turn, checking Give Away King. Ratajkowski checked off Two Dollar Pots in the home straight.

Riviera Cruz checked off Silvio Dante on the second turn. Dewana Dimie clipped the heels of Miss Dee Meadows in the back straight. Dewana Dimie and Miss Dee Meadows collided on the home turn. Lightwood Miss and Silvio Dante collided in the home straight, checking Silvio Dante. 

Nitroniun was slow to begin. Rahni and Joyous collided soon after the start. Desiree Dancer checked off Why Not Bazzar on the first turn, checking Really Magic. Joyous and Hardaway Outlaw collided on the first turn, checking Hardaway Outlaw. Rahni and Joyous collided approaching the home turn. 

Full Tilt and Champagne Luxe collided soon after the start, checking Full Tilt. Champagne Luxe and Ernie's Legacy collided on the first turn, checking Ernie's Legacy, and severely checking Pistol and Full Tilt. Pistol and Full Tilt collided approaching the home turn, checking Pistol.

Aston Liesel was quick to begin. Birkenhead and Coco Marlow collided on the first turn, checking Coco Marlow. Goorawin and Blackhawk Parker collided approaching the home turn, checking Goorawin. Coco Marlow checked off Calabrese Bullet approaching the home turn, checking Calabrese Bullet and Buckle Up Scotch, causing Buckle Up Scotch to race wide. 

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. Brandon Mackie, the representative of Radiant Angel regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Radiant Angel last raced on 24th December 2017. Mr. Mackie stated that the greyhound had been on season. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Radiant Angel trialled over the 311m from box one, weight 26.7kg, the greyhound was placed third in a field of four. The time of the trial was 18.14, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 7.5 lengths, checked on the first turn. Radiant Angel was Cleared.
