Steward's Report
Cavalry Rose was a late scratching at 12:41pm due to illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Little Women was a late scratching at 2:07pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to split webbing. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
A pre-race sample was taken from Onya Grover.
Zenstar was quick to begin.
Destini Echo and Tallinn Power collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. White Bandit, Tallinn Power and Onya Grover collided soon after the start. White Bandit faltered on the first turn. Destini Echo and Tallinn Power collided on the first turn. Chrissy Pee and Zenstar collided approaching the home turn.
White Bandit was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained lacerations to the left foreleg and right hind leg and a right back muscle injury, a 60 day stand down period was imposed.
