Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Ms K Leek, the trainer of Trouper, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Trouper last raced at Sandown Park on 21 September, 2017. Ms Leek stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right monkey muscle injury.
This event was delayed approximately one minute due to the muzzle on Just Like Didda becoming totally detached on the way to the boxes.
Trouper was slow to begin. Superior Scotch and Acey Boy collided soon after the start, checking Superior Scotch. Spring Saviour and Chrissy Pee collided approaching the 300m mark. Just Like Didda and Superior Scotch collided at the 250m mark, checking Just Like Didda. Aston Viva checked off Xan Mai at the 200m mark.
