Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Pippa's Pride.
Farfalla Nera was quick to begin. Macreadie checked off Shrek's Fantasy soon after the start. Neb's Horse and Lallybroch collided approaching the first turn. Pippa's Pride checked off Why Not Hugh on the first turn. Pippa's Pride clipped the heels of Shrek's Fantasy on the first turn checking both greyhounds. New Fire Girl, Shrek's Fantasy and Pippa's Pride collided approaching the home turn and again entering the home straight.
Lallybroch was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr. H. Wilkinson, the representative of the greyhound Lallybroch regarding its racing manners on the first turn. Stewards deemed the performance of Lallybroch unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Lallybroch must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
