Steward's Report
Xtreme Notice was a late scratching at 6:29AM due to injury (GAR 23). A ten-day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
A pre-race sample was taken from Shady Tex upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Hecton Bale was slow to begin.
Dyna Neitz, Hecton Bale and Bye All collided soon after the start, checking Hecton Bale. Glenda Kingy, Hecton Bale and Bye All collided approaching the first turn. Glenda Kingy and Dyna Neitz collided on the first turn, checking Dyna Neitz which contacted the running rail and as a result Hecton Bale and Bye All were checked. Hecton Bale and Pattaya Paul collided entering the home straight.
Dyna Neitz was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left shoulder muscle and abrasions to the both right feet. A five-day stand down period was imposed.
