Steward's Report
Carla Zeus was slow to begin. Dashing Moments and Kouta Gold collided soon after the start. Crazy Jo Jo and Kouta Gold collided approaching the first turn. Carla Zeus and Crazy Jo Jo collided on the first turn. Kouta Gold marred Gordette approaching the second turn and again on the second turn. Bobby's Baby and Kouta Gold collided on the second turn. Carla Zeus and Gordette collided approaching the third turn. Dashing Moments and Gordette collided approaching the home turn. Crazy Jo Jo, Gordette and Dashing Moments collided on the home turn checking Crazy Jo Jo. Carla Zeus galloped on the heels of Bobby's Baby approaching the winning post.
Kouta Gold was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr D. Chapman, Representative for the greyhound, Kouta Gold. Acting under GAR 69(1), Stewards charged Kouta Gold with marring. Mr Chapman pleaded not guilty to the charge, Kouta Gold was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
