Prior to the "All Clear" being given, the Judge had inadvertently semaphored No. 5 as 4th placegetter before being corrected to No. 2.
Raven On was slow to begin. Allen Lottery and Allen Mike collided soon after the start. Jewel Fantasy, Quartz Vein, Gold Vein and Allen Lottery collided on the first turn checking Gold Vein. Jewel Fantasy and Nangar Range collided on the second turn. Raven On clipped the heels of Nangar Range on the third turn. Allen Lottery and Allen Mike collided on the third turn checking Allen Lottery. Jewel Fantasy and Quartz Vein collided approaching the fourth turn.
