Steward's Report
The start time of this race was changed from 4:24pm to 4:44pm due to the On Track Veterinary Surgeon arriving late on course.
Cruising Suzie was quick to begin. Shocking Onyx and Tuscan Flex collided soon after the start checking Tuscan Flex. Adala Son crossed to the outside approaching the first turn checking Adala Son which collided with Shocking Onyx. Shocking Onyx and Dessy Fozz collided on the first turn checking Shocking Onyx. Tuscan Flex and Shocking Onyx collided on the home turn. Midnight Flynn and Cruising Suzie raced wide in the home straight.
Shocking Onyx was vetted following the event. It was reported that th greyhound sustained an abrasion and spike wound to the left hind foot. A stand down period of 3 days was imposed.
