The start time of this race was changed from 5:04pm to 5:25pm due to the On Track Veterinary Surgeon arriving late on course.
Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Starter Mr S Waycott did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Stewards spoke to Mr S Waycott, the trainer of Hard Wicket regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Hard Wicket last raced on 17th March 2017. Mr Waycott stated that the greyhound had an extended spell.
Rosette, Another Value and Cyrus Rumble collided soon after the start checking Another Value. Another Value, Cyrus Rumble and Like Her Mum collided approaching the first turn checking Cyrus Rumble and severely checking Like Her Mum. Cyrus Rumble and Open Mind collided approaching the home turn checking Open Mind. Rosette and It Gets Better collided on the home turn. Rosette and It Gets Better collided in the home straight.
