Steward's Report
The start time of this race was changed from 5:49pm to 6:09pm due to the On Track Veterinary Surgeon arriving late on course.
Stewards spoke to Mr J Arthur the trainer of Latifi Cee Jay regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Latifi Cee Jay last raced on 22nd April 2017. Mr Arthur stated that the greyhound was resuming from a spell.
Black Paws and Iconic Rock were quick to begin. Squizzy Buzzard was slow to begin. Squizzy Buzzard checked off Latifi Cee Jay soon after the start checking Squizzy Buzzard. Latifi Cee Jay checked off Major Bill approaching the first turn. Major Bill, Patriotic Star, McMonty's Girl and Mint Boy collided on the first turn severely checking McMonty's Girl. Iconic Rock and Black Paws collided on the home turn.
