Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Roman Around.
Dynamite Dozer was quick to begin. Last Outlaw was slow to begin.
Roman Around and Ginger Warrior collided soon after the start and again at the 300m mark. Last Outlaw checked off Daryl Dixon at the 250m mark. Last Outlaw marred Daryl Dixon from the 200m mark to the 50m mark, checking Daryl Dixon and Tai Chi Mini.
Last Outlaw was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury.
Stewards spoke to Mr Malcolm Davis, the Trainer of the greyhound Last Outlaw, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners from the 200m mark to the 50m mark. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Last Outlaw with marring. Mr Davis pleaded guilty to the charge, Last Outlaw was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Healesville and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
