Stewards spoke to Mr Nathan Weir, the representative of Seven Shadows, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Seven Shadows last raced on 29 March 2017 and is returning after a right hock injury.
A pre-race sample was taken from Seven Shadow.
Princess Vintage and Dodge Ball were quick to begin.
Storm Of All and Gotta Little Big collided soon after the start. Eagleeye Norris crossed to the outside soon after the start, checking Gotta Little Big. Storm Of All and Flowering Rose collided at the 200m mark, checking Flowering Rose. Storm Of All and Miller's Court collided at the 150m mark. Storm Of All, Miller's Court and Seven Shadows collided at the 100m mark, checking Miller's Court and Seven Shadows.
