Steward's Report
A pre race sample was taken from There's Steamy.
Emperor Cruz, Wil Dazzle and Dr. Dunstan were slow to begin. Aminya Shadow and Black Train collided soon after the start. There's Steamy and Dr. Simon collided approaching the first turn. Will Dazzle and Dr. Dunstan collided on the first turn. Dr. Simon checked off Emperor Cruz on the first turn checking Dr. Simon, Will Dazzle and Dr. Dunstan. Black Train checked off Vanilla Kiss in the back straight. There's Steamy, Will Dazzle and Dr. Dunstan collided on the second turn severely checking There's Steamy which subsequently faultered and pulled up. Black Train and Emperor Cruz collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.
There's Steamy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right radius/ulna, a 90 day stand down period was imposed.
