Jai Jai Away and Sandtrack Sniper were slow to begin.  Tru Blu Keats and Kai Mook collided soon after the start.  Shrek's Typhoon and Bracken Bridge collided approaching the first turn.  Kai Mook and Great Sheldor collided approaching the first turn checking Kai Mook.  Shrek's Typhoon galloped on Kai Mook on the first turn severely checking Kai Mook; Kai Mook and Sandtrack Sniper collided as a result.  Tru Blu Keats and Shrek's Typhoon collided in the back straight.  Jai Jai Away contacted the running rail approaching the second turn.  Jai Jai Away checked off Tru Blu Keats on the second turn and stumbled.  Kai Mook marred Sandtrack Sniper entering the home straight.

Vallexia was vetted and after being re vetted following event 4, it was reported that the greyhound was found to have neck soreness, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Jai Jai Away was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Terry, the trainer of the greyhound Kai Mook regarding the greyhound's racing manners entering the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Kai Mook with marring.  Mr. Terry pleaded guilty to the charge, Kai Mook was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Traralgon and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Ms. S. Northway, the trainer of Galloping Kriste declared a new weight of 28.4kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Galloping Kriste last raced at 26.8kgs.

Our Sweetie and Eagle Princess were quick to begin.  Hurricane Sam was slow to begin.  Donna O'Muffin was very slow to begin (3 Lengths).  Mt. View Gift galloped on Our Sweetie approaching the home turn checking Our Sweetie.

Following the event Donna O'Muffin displayed signs of Post Exercise Distress Syndrome (PEDS).  As a result the greyhound was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound displayed clinical signs of Ataxia/Hypermetria.  No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. L. Mitchell, the representative of Donna O'Muffin and advised him that the greyhound would be closely monitored in future events.

Evie Louise was quick to begin.  Hurricane Patch, Jen's Magic and Sultan's Pride were slow to begin.  Shrek's Capri and Evie Louise collided soon after the start.  Chucky Thump and Jen's Magic collided approaching the first turn checking Jen's Magic.  Hurricane Patch and Chucky Thump collided on the first turn.  Sultan's Pride crossed to the outside on the first turn and raced wide throughout the event.

Evelyn was slow to begin.  Diamond Delight crossed in soon after the start checking Evelyn.  Amaroo Bazinga galloped on Zulu Zoe approaching the first turn checking Amaroo Bazinga and Evelyn.  Amaroo Bazinga and Evelyn collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Diamond Delight marred Slick Assassian approaching the second turn causing both greyhounds to race wide.  Zulu Zoe and Little Miss Em collided entering the back straight.  Diamond Delight and Amaroo Bazinga collided on the third turn.  Evelyn and Diamond Delight collided approaching the home turn.

Diamond Delight was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound was found to have mild lameness in both front legs.  No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Jack, the trainer of the greyhound Diamond Delight regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the second turn.  Acting under GAR 69(1)  stewards charged Diamond Delight with marring.  Mr. Jack pleaded not guilty to the charge, Diamond Delight was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Traralgon and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Zelemar Zest and About To Cry were slow to begin.  Oakmont Octum was very slow to begin (4 lengths).  Bird Special and About To Cry collided approaching the first turn.  Bird Special and About To Cry collided on the first turn checking Bird Special.  Explosive Sky and Lakeview Miss collided on the second turn.  Jonny Bravo checked off Lakeview Miss on the second turn causing Jonny Bravo to collide with Zelemar Zest.  Jonny Bravo and Oakmont Octum collided approaching the home turn.  Oakmont Octum checked off Jonny Bravo on the home turn.

Emperor Cruz, Wil Dazzle and Dr. Dunstan were slow to begin.  Aminya Shadow and Black Train collided soon after the start.  There's Steamy and Dr. Simon collided approaching the first turn.  Will Dazzle and Dr. Dunstan collided on the first turn. Dr. Simon checked off Emperor Cruz on the first turn checking Dr. Simon, Will Dazzle and Dr. Dunstan.  Black Train checked off Vanilla Kiss in the back straight. There's Steamy, Will Dazzle and Dr. Dunstan collided on the second turn severely checking There's Steamy which subsequently faultered and pulled up.  Black Train and Emperor Cruz collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.

There's Steamy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right radius/ulna, a 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr B. Dewan, the representative for Dewana Interest regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Dewana Interest last raced 15 April, 2017 and is returning from a spell.

Dewana Interest and Lochinvar Rox were quick to begin.  Challis Jack went up with the lids at boxrise and was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Lochinvar Rox crossed in soon after the start causing Dr. Condor and Dr. Eleonora to collide.  Lochinvar Rox and Karise Fusileer collided on the first turn.  Challis Jack raced wide on the first turn.  Dr. Condor and Dr. Eleonora collided approaching the second turn.  Banjo Barbie and Dewana Interest collided in the back straight.  Lochinvar Rox, Dewana Interest and Karise Fusileer collided on the third turn checking Dewana Interest and Lochinvar Rox.  Karise Fusileer checked off Dr. Eleonora entering the home straight.

Terrace and Jebrynah Roma collided in the home straight.

Hurricane Craig, Dukestar and Kev's Choice collided on the first turn checking Hurricane Craig and Dukestar; Swift Damian galloped on Dukestar as a result checking Dukestar and Galloping Benny and causing Swift Damian to fall.  Hurricane Craig and Dukestar collided on the home turn.

Dr. Luvdisc was slow to begin.  Neo Ha Ha and Harvey Leigh collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking So Far Away, Dr. Luvdisc and Neo Ha Ha  and causing One More Tom to fall.  Neo Ha Ha and Harvey Leigh collided approaching the home turn.

One More Tom was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Itz Hooroo Adios and Johnny Wolf were slow to begin.  Lucky's Spirit and Kiyoshi collided approaching the first turn checking Kiyoshi.  Kiyoshi checked off Lucky's Spirit on the first turn checking Johnny Wolf.  Kiyoshi crossed to the outside approaching the home turn checking Johnny Wolf.  Itz Hooroo Adios checked off Tills Henry entering the home straight.

Bandit Brad was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound was followed up with PEDS and sustained split webbing on the right hind, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Special Member trialled over the 395m from box 8, weight 32.3kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 22:52, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 7 lengths.  Special Member was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Jose, the trainer of Soda Man regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Soda Man last raced on 5th January 2017.  Mr. Jose stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a change of trainer.  Pursuant to GAR 77A, Soda Man trialled over the 395m from box 1, weight 33.8kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 22:52,  the greyhound won by a margin of 2.50 lengths. Soda Man was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) -  Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Condon, the trainer of Roger Jay regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Roger Jay last raced on 8th August, 2016.  Mr. Condon stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a change of trainer.  Pursuant to GAR 77A, Roger Jay trialled over the 395m from box 6, weight 31.8kgs, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 22:52, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 21.50 lengths.  Roger Jay was Cleared.
