Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Trace Amount.
Panda Bale and Mick's Angel were slow to begin and collided soon after the start. Panda Bale checked off Linco Bale on the first turn. Ella's Cruising and Trace Amount collided approaching the second turn. Linco Bale and Dewana Babe collided in the front straight and again on the third turn. Linco Bale checked off Dewana Babe approaching the fourth turn. Ella's Cruising faltered approaching the fifth turn and tailed off. Revision and Dewana Babe collided in the home straight.
Ella's Cruising was vetted following the event and was revetted following Race 7. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Stewards spoke to Mr M. Cauchi, Trainer of the greyhound. Stewards deemed the performance of Ella's Cruising unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Ella's Cruising must perform a Satisfactory Trial, All Tracks, before any future nomination will be accepted.
